Warranty Eligibility
Nano Tech Pro warrants to the original purchaser that our Paint Protection Film (PPF) products are free from manufacturing defects at the time of purchase and during the applicable warranty period when installed and maintained under normal operating conditions.
To activate the warranty, the product must be registered within 30 days of installation through the Nano Tech Pro warranty registration process. Proof of purchase or installer invoice may be required to validate the warranty claim.
This warranty applies only to products installed by authorised Nano Tech Pro installers or approved installation partners.
Warranty Coverage Period
Nano Tech Pro Paint Protection Films are covered for the following warranty periods:
- OptiClear PPF – Up to 10 years
- OptiMatte PPF – Up to 10 years
The warranty period begins on the original date of installation.
What the Warranty Covers
Nano Tech Pro PPF is warranted against manufacturing defects that may occur during normal use, including:
- Yellowing or discolouration of the film
- Cracking or splitting of the material
- Bubbling, blistering, or delamination
- Adhesive failure related to film manufacturing
If a valid claim is approved, Nano Tech Pro will supply replacement film of the same product or a comparable equivalent if the original product has been discontinued.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not apply to:
- Installation defects or workmanship issues
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or external impact
- Improper installation or installation by non-authorised installers
- Damage caused by improper maintenance or failure to follow care instructions
- Normal wear and tear over time
- Applications on unsuitable surfaces or non-automotive uses
Installation quality is the responsibility of the installing professional once the film has been applied.
Natural Material Characteristics
Paint Protection Film is exposed to environmental conditions such as sunlight, temperature changes, and road debris. Minor visual changes over time, such as slight edge lifting or gradual changes in gloss or clarity, may occur and are considered normal material behaviour rather than product defects.
Additionally, self-healing properties may gradually reduce over extended periods of use due to natural wear.
Warranty Limitations
This warranty is limited to the replacement of the Nano Tech Pro film product only. It does not cover:
- Installation labour costs
- Vehicle downtime or transport costs
- Any indirect or consequential damages
The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original vehicle owner and installation.
